Sometimes when meeting in person with another girl for discipleship, it’s fun to serve a lunch or snack! Here are a few ideas:

  • Savory: Serve relishes/crackers/chips with hummus or your favorite veggie dip.
  • Fruit: Cut up two pieces of fruit and serve on two pretty dishes.
  • Trail Mix: This one works great if you’re meeting at a park. Mix together your choice of almonds, walnuts, sesame sticks, raisins, sunflower seeds, chocolate/carob chips, pumpkin seeds and coconut shavings. (Be sure to take into consideration your friend’s tastes and allergies.) Pour into two bags (one for each of you), grab two water bottles and go!
  • Lunch: Serve a veggie salad with supplies for making sandwiches. Your guest can make whatever combination best suits her unique tastes and health needs. She could even just make a big salad and toss the turkey lunchmeat on top!

“O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”
