The Creator of the Universe ...... cares about you.
Did you know? God loves you!
God’s Word says: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
However, something has created a barrier between us and God.
Have you ever lied? Or taken something that wasn’t yours? Or been disrespectful to your parents? Or given way to impure thoughts?
Those actions are called ‘sin’.
God is perfect and holy. But we obviously are not.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23)
Our sin prevents us from having a relationship with God.
Not only does our sin separate us from God, but our sin has a high penalty.
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
But There’s Hope!
The penalty for sin is death and eternal separation from God. But God loves us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to pay that penalty.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
Christ died on the cross and then rose again. To those who believe in His name and receive Him as their Savior He will give eternal life.
How do we do this?
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9-10)
We go to the Lord in prayer and acknowledge what we’ve just learned.
We can say:
“Dear God, I know that I’m a sinner and that my sin has separated me from You. I believe that Your Son Jesus Christ died for my sins and rose again. Please forgive my sins and help me do what’s right. I accept Christ as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
And we receive the gift of eternal life! We become a child of God. We have a sure foundation for our lives, now and for eternity.

How I Received Jesus Christ into My Life
“As a young child my parents taught me about God and encouraged me to love Him! I learned about people in the Bible who loved God and how they lived for God. And, as a child I invited God’s Son, Jesus Christ, into my heart.
Now that I’m older, I understand more about what I did. John 1:12 says “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:“ I had sinned and my sin was a barrier to my having a relationship with God. But God has sent His Son, Jesus Christ, and Jesus took the punishment for my sin. Since Jesus took my punishment it is possible for me to have a relationship with God if I receive Jesus and believe in His name. I did receive Jesus and believe in His name, by asking Jesus into my heart. And I’ve been growing in my relationship with Christ ever since!”
