a Deeper Prayer Life

Prayer is talking to God, pouring out our hearts to Him who loves us so deeply.

We pray not only because we are commanded to (Ephesians 6:18), but because it is vital to our peace of mind (Philippians 4:6,7).

We can pray anywhere and at any time of the day.

But it is so much more than just quick popcorn prayers. A full diet of popcorn isn’t optimum! :)

We can have a much deeper prayer life.

Going Deeper

Get started in deepening your prayer time!

There is so much you can talk to God about:

Thanksgiving: Thank the Lord for what He is doing in your life (Psalm 136:1). Be specific!

Praise: Praise the Lord for Who He Is (Psalm 150:2).

Ask for Forgiveness: Ask the Lord to forgive you for the things you’ve done that are wrong (1 John 1:9).

Requests: Pray for your family and friends, missionaries you know, your nation, your community and yourself (Ephesians 6:18). Praying specific Scriptures for them is an excellent way to start.

“Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;”
Colossians 4:2
