“Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” Matthew 1:23

“God with us.”

On January 1st, 2018, these three words from Matthew 1:23 encouraged my heart as I spent time with the Lord during my Quiet Time. Perhaps these three words will be an encouragement to you as well.

“God with us.”

As children of the King of Kings, God is with us. With us as we invest in our personal relationship with Him.

“God with us.”

As wives, God is with us. With us as we invest in our relationship with our husbands.

“God with us.”

As mothers, God is with us. With us as we invest in the lives of our children. Daily helping them to grow in their love for God and His Word.

“God with us.”

With us to give us strength, to help us, and to uphold us.

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10

“God with us.”

As a new year begins we are not alone.

“God with us.”

With you. With me.

Hallelujah!

Happy New Year.
